We first found out about Skylodge Adventure Suites through YouTube. As passionate travelers, we tend to watch a lot of travel vlogs on that platform and there was one that stood out to us. It was about a couple who had an adventure at Skylodge. My husband, right there and then, decided that we needed to stay at this accommodation. It was added to our bucket list!

The start of the journey is climbing up 400 metres of Via Ferrata. You will be attached to safety wires the entire way. The climb took us an hour and 45 minutes, but it wasn’t difficult and there were guides with us.

At Skylodge Adventure Suites, guests can sleep within a completely transparent hanging bedroom in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru. Composed of three exclusive capsule suites with a total capacity of 12 people (complete with four beds, a dining area and a private bathroom), the suites are situated 1,200ft above sea level along the mountain range. Once arriving in Cusco, travelers are picked up by car, encompassing a one hr journey, to Pachar a small town 15-minutes from Ollantaytambo. Once arriving in Pachar, there are two ways to get to the Skylodge; either by climbing 1,200ft of Via Ferrata or by hiking a one-hour hike trail through ziplines.

Construyó junto con su pareja Natalia Rodríguez, la experiencia para poder ofrecer a los viajeros sin habilidades escaladoras, la posibilidad de sentir lo que siente un alpinista al dormir en medio de una pared montañosa. Así crearon la empresa Natura Vive.
